AgencyRelay
Resources hub · 5 categories · 3 Phase 1 pieces live

Operating-grade resources for agency owners.

Every piece in the AgencyRelay library exists for one reason: it would be useful in a partner conversation we were already having. Three Phase 1 authority pieces are live now — a long-form guide, a gated playbook, and a gated template — with five category hubs and original research on the way.

  • Authored by Nilesh B Gadekar — Founder & CEO
  • Edited from real partner engagements
  • Operating-grade — not lead-magnet filler
How the library is built

Three editorial rules — they decide what gets written and what stays in the drawer

Most agency-targeted content is written for SEO first and for an operator second. The AgencyRelay library inverts that. Every piece is something a partner agency owner would forward to their delivery lead inside a working channel — not bookmark and forget.

Rule 01

Earned from real engagements

Every guide, playbook, and template comes out of an active partner relationship — not from a content brief. The resources show up after a conversation where a partner asked for the same thing twice.

Rule 02

Specific enough to be uncomfortable

We name solutions, name pricing ranges, name failure modes, and name the trust spine. Generic agency advice is not what an operator paid attention to in the first place.

Rule 03

Mapped into the operating story

Every resource links explicitly into the right Solution, Capability, and Audience pages — and into the no-poach and partner-models reading underneath. Content that doesn't connect to the engagement model isn't shipped.

Five category hubs

The library is organised by what the resource does — not by topic

Guides explain the why. Playbooks explain the how. Templates and checklists give you the artefact. Tools do the work for you. Pick the shape that fits the conversation you're in.

Guides

Long-form thinking · 10–18 min reads

Editorial-quality long reads that explain a single agency operating problem end-to-end — the framing, the trade-offs, and the working answer. Authored, dated, and reviewed.

  • Single-topic essays, not roundup posts
  • Concrete examples from US agency engagements
  • Linked into solutions, capabilities, and glossary entries

Playbooks

Step-by-step PDFs · gated by email

Multi-step operating playbooks shipped as a downloadable PDF. The format is built for the moment a partner needs to run a specific motion — proposal rescue, overflow intake, capability handoff — and wants the steps laid out.

  • Step-by-step structure with role splits
  • Includes a partner-side checklist at the end
  • Email required — used only for the asset and The Partner Brief

Templates

Working artefacts · gated by email

Editable templates an agency can lift into a live engagement — proposal docs, scope frames, onboarding sheets. Compiled by AgencyRelay from real partner work, shipped as PDF plus a copy-ready Notion or Doc.

  • Editable in Notion / Google Docs / Markdown
  • Pre-filled with operator-grade defaults
  • Email required — used only for the asset and The Partner Brief

Checklists

Pre-flight artefacts · ungated

One-page operational checklists for the moments inside an engagement that matter most — pre-sales handoff, white-label launch, client readiness. Designed to be opened on a Monday, not bookmarked.

  • Single-page PDF format
  • Built for shared partner-channel posting
  • First Phase 1 checklist ships with the white-label-delivery readers

Tools

Calculators & selectors · interactive

Lightweight in-browser tools that do a piece of the operator's math for them — agency margin against partner pod, project scope sanity check, delivery model selector. No login, no install.

  • Run in-browser, no signup
  • Tied directly to the pricing and delivery models on the site
  • First Phase 1 tool ships alongside the pricing page expansion

The Partner Brief

A biweekly read for agency owners thinking about how delivery works

One short note every other week. New playbook chapters, partner pattern reads, and a practical operating prompt or two. No promo blasts, no 'industry roundups'. The same email goes to AgencyRelay partners and to the wider list — written once, with operators in mind.

  • Biweekly cadence — never the same week we ship a sales email
  • Sent from the founder, not a marketing alias
  • Unsubscribe in one click — no dark patterns

Phase 2 — what's already mapped, not yet shipped

The Phase 2 library is mapped against the same operating story — solutions, capabilities, audiences. Phase 1 pages don't link out to these slugs until each piece is live, but the slugs are reserved.

These slugs are reserved. If a piece you'd find useful is on this list, mention it on the partner call and we'll prioritise it inside the editorial queue.

Resources FAQ

Gating, authorship, cadence — what partners usually ask

Direct answers to the questions agency owners typically ask before downloading a gated asset or subscribing to The Partner Brief.

See full FAQ
  • Q.01

Why are some resources gated and others ungated?

Two reasons. (1) Operating playbooks and editable templates are the artefacts most likely to be lifted directly into a live engagement — the email exchange is how we know to send updates when the playbook changes. (2) Long-form guides and definitions sit at the top of the funnel and earn more by being open — they exist to inform, not to qualify. Gated assets are the Proposal Rescue Playbook and the Technical Proposal Template at launch.

  • Q.02

What do you do with my email after the download?

We send the asset, add you to The Partner Brief (biweekly, founder-written), and that's it. No drip sequence, no third-party data sharing. Unsubscribe is one click. Email handling runs through Resend on a private send domain, contracted through Salt Technologies, Inc.

  • Q.03

    Who actually writes the resources?

Nilesh B Gadekar — Founder and CEO of AgencyRelay (a brand of Salt Technologies, Inc.) — is the author of record on every guide, playbook, template, and research piece. Every authored page carries Person schema, a 'Reviewed by Nilesh B Gadekar' note, and a last-updated date. The author archive at /authors/nilesh-b-gadekar lists every asset in one place.

  • Q.04

How often do you publish new resources?

The honest answer: when a piece earns its place. Most months we add one new piece — a guide, a playbook chapter, or a checklist. We'd rather ship four operator-grade artefacts a year than forty roundup posts. The Partner Brief lists every new resource the week it's live.

  • Q.05

Can I share a gated resource with my team?

Yes — both the Playbook and the Template are licensed for in-team use across the recipient agency, including delivery leads, AEs, and contractors working under that agency's brand. The only ask is that you don't repackage them for resale. If a partner agency wants a co-branded version for repeated client use, that's a conversation we have on the partner call.

  • Q.06

Do I need to read the resources before booking a partner call?

No. The resources exist to make the partner conversation faster — not to be a prerequisite. If you've already read the Proposal Rescue Playbook the call moves quicker. If you haven't, we walk through the same motion live. Either way, bring an opportunity or a pattern you're trying to solve.

Pick the artefact, or skip straight to the call

The library is built to do work — not to sit in a download folder. Pick what fits the week you're in, and bring the rest of the conversation to the partner call.

Three live pieces today, five category hubs growing behind them, original research within 90 days. Operators don't need more agency content — they need a small library of pieces that earn the next decision. That's the bar.
