AgencyRelay
For Agencies hub · 8 audience profiles

Built for the way your agency actually runs.

Different agencies sell different work. AgencyRelay tunes the engagement model — solutions, capabilities, communication boundaries — to the operating reality of your agency, not the other way around. Eight Phase 1 audience profiles cover the full Tier 1 ICP — pick the one that sounds the most like you.

Why agencies use a partner like this

The operating reality every agency type hits at some point

Different agency models hit the wall at different moments — but the wall is structurally the same. AgencyRelay is the operating layer that absorbs each of these without asking you to take on permanent headcount.

Wall 01

Pre-sales depth

A live opportunity is bigger or more technical than the in-house team can comfortably scope on its own.

Wall 02

Active delivery bandwidth

Work is sold and the calendar can no longer absorb it cleanly without slipping client commitments.

Wall 03

New service line

Existing clients are asking for a capability — AI, app, custom development — the agency does not yet ship.

Wall 04

Burst capacity

A single quarter spikes and the team is one or two engagements away from quality dropping.

Find your fit

Pick the audience profile that matches your agency model

A short selector across the eight Phase 1 audience profiles. The card you click jumps to the in-depth profile and links out to the dedicated audience page underneath.

The eight audience profiles

Each profile maps to a distinct operating shape — not a different product.

A precise read on what defines each agency type, what work they typically hand to AgencyRelay, and which solutions and capabilities slot in. The page underneath each profile carries the longer audience-specific narrative.

01 / 04Brand · Product · Interaction

For Design Agencies

Distinction — Senior on the design half of the brief, lighter on the build-and-ship half once the comps go to a developer.

Design-led shops win the brief on craft and creative direction, then need a credible delivery layer to take the work past the prototype. AgencyRelay slots underneath as the engineering, AI, and ongoing-support layer — without changing who owns the design relationship with the client.

Signals you’ll recognise

  • The proposal stage looks great until the build estimate is needed
  • A great prototype keeps stalling at production handoff
  • Clients are asking for app, CMS, or AI extensions of designed flows

Typical work we ship

  • Design-system implementation in code
  • Web and app builds from approved Figma flows
  • Production polish, accessibility, and performance passes
02 / 04Technical SEO · Content · Performance

For SEO Agencies

Distinction — Strong on strategy, audits, and content — needs reliable engineering hands when the recommendations turn into shipped change.

SEO agencies routinely get strategy approved and then run aground at the implementation step — schema, Core Web Vitals, headless rebuilds, technical migrations. AgencyRelay is the development bench that turns the audit into the launch without your team learning a new framework on the client's clock.

Signals you’ll recognise

  • The audit lists 30 fixes the client's dev team will not get to
  • A migration or replatform is part of the SOW you just won
  • Core Web Vitals and structured data work needs to be done at scale

Typical work we ship

  • Technical SEO implementation across stacks
  • Headless or static-site rebuilds tied to content strategy
  • Performance, schema, and accessibility remediation
03 / 04Theme · Apps · Conversion

For Shopify Agencies

Distinction — Wins on commerce strategy, theme craft, and merchandising — needs depth on custom apps, integrations, and AI overlays.

Shopify agencies thrive on theme work and conversion strategy until a client asks for a custom app, a complex integration, or a new AI feature on top of the storefront. AgencyRelay carries the custom-engineering and AI surface area so your team can stay focused on the storefront experience and the merchant relationship.

Signals you’ll recognise

  • A merchant needs a custom app or private app, not just a theme tweak
  • Headless or hybrid Shopify is on the table for a high-spend client
  • Subscription, OMS, or AI overlays are part of the next SOW

Typical work we ship

  • Custom Shopify apps and embedded admin extensions
  • Headless and hybrid storefront builds
  • Integration work — ERP, OMS, search, AI search and recommendations
04 / 04RevOps · CRM · AI

For HubSpot Agencies

Distinction — Strong on CRM strategy and lifecycle marketing — needs implementation depth and AI/automation engineering on top.

HubSpot agencies sell strategy, lifecycle, and onboarding well. The wall shows up around custom modules, complex integrations, AI agents wired into HubSpot, and lifting clients onto Operations Hub workflows that go beyond out-of-the-box. AgencyRelay is the implementation and AI engineering layer that lets you keep saying yes without putting HubSpot devs on payroll.

Signals you’ll recognise

  • Clients are asking for AI assistants and agents inside HubSpot
  • Onboardings keep stalling on custom integrations or Operations Hub
  • A live RFP needs a credible implementation story to win

Typical work we ship

  • Custom modules, themes, and HubSpot CMS work
  • AI agents and workflow automation wired into the HubSpot stack
  • Integrations across Salesforce, ERP, billing, and product analytics
05 / 04Strategy · Agents · RAG · Automation

For AI Consultancies

Distinction — Wins on AI strategy, prompt design, and roadmap — needs a real production engineering layer to take agents and retrieval pipelines from POC to shipped.

Most AI consultancies sell strategy, evaluation, and prompt design well — and then run aground when the client asks for a production agent, a retrieval pipeline, or an evals harness wired into a real codebase. AgencyRelay is the implementation engineering bench underneath the AI strategy layer, with the guardrails, observability, and integration depth that separates a demo from a system the client trusts on a Monday morning.

Signals you’ll recognise

  • A client wants the agent prototype lifted into production with evals and guardrails
  • RAG over real client data is part of the next SOW and the storage / chunking layer needs ownership
  • An AI roadmap needs implementation hours behind it, not just another deck

Typical work we ship

  • Production agents with tool use, evals, and observability
  • RAG pipelines on real client data — ingestion, chunking, retrieval, eval harness
  • AI workflow automation and integrations across the client stack
06 / 04Web · App · Backend · AI

For Software / Engineering Agencies

Distinction — Has the engineering muscle to deliver day-to-day — needs an overflow bench plus AI implementation depth that doesn't require hiring an AI team from scratch.

Software-led agencies don't need a partner to teach them engineering. They need a partner that can absorb a quarter where four projects landed in the same week, lift an AI ask off the team without distracting them from the roadmap, and quietly cover the maintenance layer so the senior engineers can stay on new builds. AgencyRelay is the overflow + AI implementation bench underneath an already-capable engineering team.

Signals you’ll recognise

  • Two or three projects land in the same window and the calendar can no longer absorb cleanly
  • A client asks for an AI feature the in-house bench has not yet built in production
  • The maintenance and support layer keeps eating senior engineering hours

Typical work we ship

  • Burst frontend / backend pods inside live engagements
  • AI implementation tracks layered on existing client codebases
  • White-label execution on stretches the in-house team can't take this quarter
07 / 04Advisory · Architecture · Build brokerage

For Fractional CTOs & Product Consultants

Distinction — Trusted advisor on the strategy and architecture half — needs a vetted delivery bench they can broker work to without inheriting a hiring problem.

Fractional CTOs and product consultants win the engagement on judgement and architecture, then need somewhere to send the actual build without losing control of the brand or the client relationship. AgencyRelay is the standing delivery bench — design, web, app, AI, QA — that fractionals broker to under their own name, with the trust spine and white-label discipline a senior advisor will actually put their reputation behind.

Signals you’ll recognise

  • A client trusts your strategy and now wants you to own the build too
  • The next 90 days need execution hours but you can't justify a full-time hire
  • An MVP, AI feature, or platform rebuild needs to ship under your advisory engagement

Typical work we ship

  • MVP and platform builds brokered under a fractional engagement
  • AI agent and integration work wired into the client's stack
  • Architectural shape-up plus build, handed off to AgencyRelay execution
08 / 04Enterprise accounts · Long engagements · Modernisation

For Boutique IT Consultancies

Distinction — Long-running enterprise client base, lean delivery side — needs deep, structured execution behind the consulting muscle without standing up an offshore arm.

Boutique IT consultancies live on long, multi-year client relationships and bill for advisory and oversight more than for line-by-line build. When a modernisation, integration, or AI rollout shows up, the standing team is too lean to take it on without a structured delivery layer underneath. AgencyRelay carries the build, the support contracts, and the maintenance layer behind the IT consultancy's brand — with the contracts, no-poach defaults, and confidentiality discipline an enterprise client will accept.

Signals you’ll recognise

  • An enterprise client wants a modernisation or platform rebuild and the bench is too thin
  • Ongoing support contracts are eating senior consultant time
  • An integration or AI rollout sits inside an account you are already servicing

Typical work we ship

  • Long-arc white-label delivery against enterprise client briefs
  • Modernisation and integration builds across web and backend stacks
  • Ongoing support and maintenance under your brand

More audience profiles are on the way

Phase 1 ships with eight dedicated audience profiles covering the full Tier 1 ICP. The next wave is mapped — when each profile launches, the audience selector and matrix above will expand. Until then, pick the closest Phase 1 fit and we'll tune the engagement on the call.

These slugs are reserved. We won't link out to them from Phase 1 pages until the dedicated profile is live.

What stays the same across every audience

The operating spine doesn't change with the agency type

The audience profile changes which solutions and capabilities sit on top. The trust layer underneath is the same in every engagement — and is the reason most partners are willing to put the second client in front of us.

Default

Single MSA across the relationship

One Master Services Agreement covers every engagement. Each new piece of work slots underneath as its own SOW.

Default

Mutual NDA before the brief

Signed before client names, scope, or commercials change hands. Standalone, partner-grade.

Default

Mutual no-poach in every MSA

Runs both ways for the engagement and a defined window after. Same clause across every audience type.

Default

White-label safe by default

Zero client-facing footprint from AgencyRelay unless joint comms are explicitly written into the SOW.

Default

US-aligned working hours

A daily overlap with US business hours on every active engagement, written into the SOW.

Default

Named delivery owner per engagement

A named owner inside your shared channel on every active engagement — never a faceless team queue.

The trust spine is the same regardless of audience profile. Read it end-to-end before you put the second client in front of us.

Audience selection FAQ

Picking the right audience profile — common questions

Direct answers to the questions partners usually ask before booking the first call.

See full FAQ
  • Q.01

Do you only work with these eight agency types?

No — these are the eight Phase 1 profiles where we have the deepest pattern recognition and they cover the full Tier 1 ICP. Branding, marketing, e-commerce, RevOps, and product-consultant operators all use AgencyRelay too. Pick the closest Phase 1 fit on this page and we'll tune the engagement on the partner call. Dedicated profiles for the next wave are on the roadmap.

  • Q.02

What if our agency model is a hybrid — design + Shopify, or HubSpot + AI?

Common, and intentionally supported. Audience profiles are an operating signal, not a billing category. Hybrid agencies usually start with one solution against the dominant half of their model and expand the engagement once the first SOW is in flight.

  • Q.03

Are the solutions on each audience page different from the solutions hub?

No. There are exactly four solutions across the site. The audience page just highlights which two or three of those solutions are the most common entry points for that specific agency model — and which capabilities usually slot inside.

  • Q.04

Will you go around us and talk to our client?

Not by default. Every audience profile runs under the same white-label boundaries — the named delivery owner sits inside your shared channel, not the client's. If a co-delivery setup is a fit for a specific account, the exception is written into the SOW addendum up-front. Read the no-poach and confidentiality page for the full default.

  • Q.05

    How do we get started?

Two options. (1) Pick your audience profile above, click into the dedicated page, and book a partner call from there. (2) Send us the opportunity directly and we'll respond with a clean read on which solution fits and what the cleanest first engagement looks like — usually within one business day.

Bring an opportunity

Tell us which kind of agency you run. We’ll point you at the right profile and the cleanest first engagement.

Pre-sales, active delivery, capacity squeeze, or a new service line — bring the brief and we'll respond with a fit read tuned to your agency model.
